The Sire S3 SSS 'Dakota Red' is a fresh take on the timeless three-single-coil design, built to meet the standards of session legend Larry Carlton. Its mahogany body offers a warmer, rounder tone than traditional alder or ash, complementing the crisp response of its trio of Sire Standard-ST single coils, while the maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and a 9.5 inch radius keep the feel fast and comfortable.

The pickups are voiced for balance and clarity, delivering shimmering highs, defined mids, and a punchy low end with that classic quack in positions two and four of the 5-way blade switch. Rolled fingerboard edges and a C-shaped neck profile add real comfort, while the 2-post tremolo and stable tuners make this ideal for players chasing everything from chiming clean tones to gritty blues leads and smooth jazz phrasing.
