Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, this model delivers a rich, textured voice with clear highs, a warm midrange and a deep, supportive bass. Scalloped V-Class bracing enhances volume, sustain and note-to-note harmony, making the 814ce equally at home with fingerstyle, strumming and flatpicking across a wide range of genres.
Designed for comfort and performance, the Next Generation 814ce introduces Taylor’s Action Control Neck, allowing quick and precise string height adjustments while improving resonance and long-term stability. The Claria™ pickup system provides a natural, balanced amplified sound with intuitive soundhole-mounted controls, while refined appointments such as maple binding, Element fretboard inlays and a full-body gloss finish complete the package.
