AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
Crafted in El Cajon, California, the Taylor Grand Symphony Baritone-6 delivers a commanding, resonant voice that redefines the acoustic experience. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, this extended-scale baritone produces rich, sonorous lows balanced by shimmering highs and articulate mids. Its 27-inch scale length allows for a lower tuning—typically B-to-B—without sacrificing tension, tone, or playability.
Perfect for players seeking a deeper register or new songwriting inspiration, the Baritone-6 features gold Taylor tuners, an ebony fretboard, and Taylor’s acclaimed Expression pickup system for natural amplified tone. The result is an instrument that combines clarity, warmth, and unmistakable Taylor craftsmanship—a guitar that truly does “dark” like no other.
This 2010-built baritone guitar is in wonderful condition, with almost zeroplaywear and a couple of very minor dings to the binding. It plays superbly, and chords and fingerstyle runs are surprisingly easy even with the heavier strings. The sound is big, deep and sonorous, with beautiful overtones and beautiful clarity. Taylor's baritone guitars don't pop up too often on the used market, and this is a really stellar instrument that opens up a new world of creative possibilities. Includes original hardshell case.
