The Taylor 815e Legacy celebrates 50 years of Taylor innovation by reviving their iconic Jumbo body shape with a bold voice and vintage-inspired feel. Its solid Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides create a rich, harmonically complex sound that projects effortlessly, delivering thunderous low end, crystalline highs, and a slightly scooped midrange that sits perfectly in a mix. Whether you’re strumming hard, flatpicking, or playing fingerstyle, the 815e Legacy responds with remarkable dynamic range and balance.
A neo-tropical mahogany Standard Carve neck paired with a 15" radius Crelicam ebony fingerboard ensures effortless playability across all 20 frets. For stage use, the LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system faithfully captures the guitar’s natural resonance, offering warm, authentic amplified tone. Complete with elegant diamond inlays, white binding, and a gloss natural finish, the 815e Legacy is both a powerful performance tool and a timeless piece of craftsmanship.
This 2024-built guitar is in wonderful condition, and as one of the initial 250 guitars built it features a hand signed label by Bob Taylor himself! There's only minimal playwear, and it has a great medium action that responds beautifully to delicate fingerpicking or harder strummers. It's an absolute cannon, with Taylor's signature playability and a rich, complex and deep tone. A very rare and beautifully-appointed Taylor jumbo guitar.

Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
