Experience the revolutionary Yamaha APX 600 Acoustic Guitar, the instrument that transformed the acoustic stage performance scene in the '80s. Say goodbye to howling feedback, misplaced mics, and extended sound checks. With the APX600, you can take your acoustic sound from the guitar rack to the stage effortlessly.

Equipped with a unique under-saddle piezo pickup and Yamaha's proprietary SRT transducer, the APX600 delivers a natural tone with excellent feedback rejection. This cutting-edge technology, previously found only in the highly-acclaimed A Series range, provides guitarists with a mix-friendly sound that satisfies their performance needs.

While the style has evolved, the essence of the APX remains unchanged. The APX600 boasts a more natural look, featuring a deeper body that enhances bass response and volume. Its new non-scalloped bracing pattern ensures a responsive and dynamic tone that will captivate your audience.

Unlock the true potential of your acoustic performance with the Yamaha APX 600, available at Acoustic Centre. As a trusted music store, both online and in Melbourne, we are committed to providing you with top-quality instruments that inspire your creativity and elevate your live performances. Say goodbye to the limitations of traditional acoustic guitars and embrace the freedom and versatility of the Yamaha APX 600.

We endeavour to show the actual instrument in stock whenever possible, but the guitar in stock may differ slightly from the one shown on our website. Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.

If you're after a particular look, feel free to email us at or send us a message through our chat service to request photos of the actual guitar in stock. We are more than happy to send through pictures of all in-stock guitars, to make your choice easier.

Please note that returns will not be accepted for variations in timber grain /  colouring, finish variations and parts colouring, unless there is a fault with the instrument. If you have any questions at all regarding an instrument's appearance, just drop us a line - we're always happy to send photos, and if we have more than one instrument in stock you'll be able to choose the exact guitar that you receive!
