The Yamaha APX600 'Oriental Blue' is a slim, stage-ready acoustic-electric guitar that carries forward a design first introduced in 1987 to solve the feedback and awkward mic placement issues electric players faced on stage. A slim body depth and cutaway keep the APX600 comfortable in hand and give easy access to the upper frets, while the neck profile feels instantly familiar to players coming from electric guitar. A deeper body than earlier APX models boosts bass response and overall volume, and non-scalloped bracing adds resonance and dynamic range.

A laminate spruce top pairs with locally sourced tonewood back, sides and neck, all finished in a striking Oriental Blue gloss that gives the APX600 real stage presence.
