Yamaha APX700 II Black Acoustic Guitar

The Yamaha APX700 II Black Acoustic Guitar is crafted for players who demand performance, comfort, and sonic precision. Its thin-line body design makes it incredibly comfortable to play, especially for long sessions or live sets, while the solid spruce top and unique body shape deliver a balanced and articulate acoustic tone. This model is a top choice for performing musicians who need a guitar that offers both stage-ready tone and easy playability.

Under the hood, the APX700 II features Yamaha’s specially designed non-scalloped X-type bracing, which enhances the natural resonance of the solid top and delivers a full, dynamic voice. The clear mids and highs are perfect for cutting through a live mix, and the controlled low end ensures a clean and defined response. Whether you’re fingerpicking or strumming hard, this guitar responds with clarity and sensitivity across the tonal spectrum.

Finished in a sleek high-gloss black (which looks even more stunning in person), the APX700 II also includes an advanced pickup system that faithfully captures its natural tone for amplified settings. It’s the perfect blend of form and function—ideal for the stage, the studio, or your next songwriting session. Yamaha’s APX series has long been a favorite for players who want an acoustic-electric that’s ready for anything.

Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.

If you're after a particular look, feel free to email us at info@acousticcentre.com.au or send us a message through our chat service to request photos of the actual guitar in stock. We are more than happy to send through pictures of all in-stock guitars, to make your choice easier.
