The Furch Yellow Master’s Choice Gc-TR is the flagship specification of the Yellow Series - a Grand Auditorium cutaway that sits in a compelling position within the Master’s Choice family, sharing the premium electronics and hardware of the Red Series while presenting the individually voiced AA torrefied Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood tonewood pairing in the Yellow Series’ characteristically bold and visually distinctive appointment scheme. The individually voiced AA torrefied Sitka spruce top and AA Indian rosewood back soundboard deliver the rich, powerful acoustic voice that makes rosewood and torrefied spruce one of the most celebrated pairings in acoustic guitar making - articulate trebles, complex and well-defined midrange, deep bass, and excellent note separation with the added tonal maturity and warmth that Furch’s torrefaction process uniquely provides from the very first note.

The Yellow Master’s Choice is immediately distinguished from its Green and Blue counterparts by its full-pore high-gloss finish on both top and back and sides - a richer, more lustrous visual presentation that showcases the natural beauty of the tonewoods with maximum depth and clarity. The Eclipse fretboard inlay design - circular white pearl inlays with Master’s Choice designation at the 19th fret - is unique to the Yellow and gives the fingerboard a clean, contemporary aesthetic that sets it apart across the Master’s Choice range. Green abalone double-ring rosette with black and white contrast line, black binding with white contrast line, five-layer black and white purfling, black Bevel Duo with contrasting line, artificial tortoise bridge pins, LR Baggs HiFi Duet electronics, Gotoh 510 Silver Patina machine heads at 1:21 with polished ebony buttons, Booster Soundport, CNR System Active neck joint, and Furch T-Line hardshell case complete a flagship specification of exceptional tonal and visual distinction.

Features

  • Individually voiced AA torrefied Sitka spruce top and AA Indian rosewood back soundboard deliver a rich, powerful, and harmonically complex acoustic voice with articulate trebles, well-defined midrange, and deep bass - the torrefaction process adding tonal maturity and warmth from the very first note.
  • LR Baggs HiFi Duet combines dual bridge-plate sensors with the Silo internal microphone in an advanced crossover blending system, delivering detailed, natural, and dynamically responsive acoustic-electric performance with soundhole-mounted volume and blend controls.
  • Full-pore high-gloss finish on both top and back and sides provides a richer, more lustrous visual presentation than the Green’s satin back treatment - showcasing the natural beauty of the tonewoods with maximum depth and clarity.
  • Eclipse fretboard inlay design - unique circular white pearl inlays with Master’s Choice designation at the 19th fret - gives the Yellow Master’s Choice a clean, contemporary fingerboard aesthetic entirely its own within the Master’s Choice family.
