The Furch Yellow Performance GC-CR is designed from the ground up for discerning players who demand maximum stage performance, exceptional playing comfort, and the most natural amplified tone available in a production acoustic-electric guitar. The individually voiced western red cedar soundboard delivers the warmth, immediacy, and sensitivity to touch that cedar is celebrated for - a top that responds to the lightest fingertip pressure with richness and expressiveness, and that rewards dynamic playing with a tonal depth and complexity that only a properly voiced solid cedar top can achieve. Indian rosewood back and sides add deep bass response, rich overtones, and exceptional tonal complexity, producing a full, expressive voice with warm lows, well-defined mids, and smooth, singing highs that perform equally across strumming, fingerstyle, flatpicking, and solo performance.

The LR Baggs StagePro Anthem system - combining the Element undersaddle pickup with the Tru-Mic microphone and a comprehensive suite of side-mounted controls - delivers studio-quality amplified tone that faithfully captures the guitar's natural acoustic character in any live or recording environment. Furch's CNR System Active neck joint automatically adjusts to humidity changes to maintain consistent action, the Bevel Duo ergonomic feature with forearm and rib bevels ensures exceptional comfort during extended performances, and the Full-Pore High-Gloss finish protects the instrument while enhancing its natural resonance. Green abalone rosette, Eclipse white pearl circular fingerboard inlays, five-layer black and white binding and purfling, Gotoh 510 Silver Patina machine heads with polished ebony buttons, and a polished ebony headstock overlay complete an instrument of considerable sophistication and beauty.

Features

  • Individually voiced AA-grade western red cedar top with AA-grade Indian rosewood back and sides delivers a full, warm, and expressively complex acoustic voice with immediate response, deep bass, rich overtones, and smooth singing highs.
  • LR Baggs StagePro Anthem system combines Element undersaddle pickup with Tru-Mic microphone for a natural, detailed, studio-quality amplified tone - with three-band EQ, phase inversion, notch filter, blend control, and feedback suppression via side-mounted controls.
