The MD60EBG is part of the Alvarez Masterworks series, known for their exceptional craftsmanship and tonal excellence. The top wood is crafted from solid AA Sitka Spruce, which delivers a balanced and resonant sound. The back and sides are made from solid African Mahogany, contributing warmth and depth to the guitar's tone.

The dreadnought body shape offers a full and powerful sound, with a versatile range suitable for various musical styles. The FST2M (Forward Shifted, Scalloped X) bracing system further enhances the guitar's tonal response, allowing for clear articulation and dynamic projection.
