The centerpiece of this guitar's tonal story is its pair of TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity pickups - the most historically significant and painstakingly researched Filter'Tron recreation available. These pickups were developed through a collaboration between TV Jones and Katha House, daughter of Ray Butts, using her father's original technical journals to recreate the original 1957 Ful-Fidelity design as faithfully as possible. The result is a tighter bass response and slightly more top-end presence than a standard TV Classic, with a sparkle and dynamic range that captures the authentic sound of rockabilly's earliest recordings.
