The Maton EM100-808 Messiah Acoustic Electric Guitar stands as a true flagship of the Maton lineup, combining master-grade tonewoods with impeccable craftsmanship. Featuring a solid AAA-grade Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, this 808-bodied guitar delivers rich harmonic content with exceptional clarity and dynamic response. Maton's scalloped X bracing enhances projection and tonal balance, making the EM100-808 equally suited for articulate fingerpicking and full-bodied strumming.

A solid mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard ensures comfortable playability and tonal warmth, while elegant appointments like herringbone binding, a herringbone rosette, and a “Messiah” pearl block inlay at the 17th fret reflect the guitar's premium status. Finished in natural UV gloss, the guitar is both sonically open and visually stunning. Fitted with the AP5-Pro pickup system, it captures every nuance of your playing with clarity and definition in any amplified setting.

This 2024-built guitar is in wonderful condition, with very little playwear outside of a little pickwear to the pickguard, and a great slinky action. It's loud, open and rich, and lives up to it's reputation as one of the finest Australian-made guitars available. Includes original hardshell case.
