The Pre-War Herringbone Dreadnought is a no-compromise tribute to the most revered flattops of the golden era, delivering staggering power, depth, and harmonic complexity. Built with period-correct materials and construction techniques, this instrument captures the authority and nuance that define legendary pre-war dreadnoughts. From explosive flatpicked runs to rich, layered strumming, it responds instantly with a commanding voice that fills the room while retaining exceptional clarity and balance.

A torrefied Adirondack spruce top provides the broken-in responsiveness of a decades-old instrument, paired with truly exceptional Brazilian rosewood back and sides for deep piano-like lows, shimmering highs, and bell-like note separation. Scalloped Adirondack bracing, a lightweight build, and a vintage-correct mahogany neck bring out maximum dynamic range and sustain. Finished in a subtle Level 1 distressed lacquer with classic herringbone trim and period-accurate appointments, this is a lifelong guitar for players and collectors chasing the pinnacle of pre-war tone.

This incredible instrument is in beautiful condition, and the Level One Distressed finish is very subtle, with minimal crazing and pick wear and a slightly de-glossed look, similar to the Gibson VOS finish. It plays wonderfully, with a great medium action, and sounds phenomenal - warm, woody, round and deep, with tremendous headroom and incredible sensitivity. It's forgiving and sweet in the way that you'd expect from a true vintage guitar, and the build quality is second to none. An incredible heirloom rosewood dread in every sense. Includes original hardshell case.
